Storytelling

Storytelling would be a wonderful tool to implement in a science learning activity. For example, if the lesson is about the water cycle, the students could create a storytelling to tell step by step the process of the water cycle.  Another way I think storytelling could be of great benefit to be used in a classroom will be for instructional purposes. For example, when teaching about how a plant grows, the teacher could create a storytelling that gives specific instructions on how students at home can grow a plant. This would definitely be a great resource for parents and students in case they don’t know how to grow a plant and can’t help their children.  Storytelling would also be the perfect way for a teacher at the beginning of the school year. She can create a story telling about her and about the plans and goals for the school year.  The storytelling could be send to parents before school start or she could show it to her class or a parent conference. Overall I personally found storytelling as a fabulous resource to create fun and creative activities.
